Decades of Vision Manifested as
Years of disciplined practice and global teaching quietly shaped the foundation of Satyadhara Yogalife Ashram.
For its founder, Dr. Radheshyam Mishra, lovingly known as Guruji, the ashram represents the natural realization of a vision rooted in authentic Yoga, conscious living, and service.
A lifelong practitioner and teacher of traditional Yoga, Guruji’s work has been guided by simplicity, therapeutic understanding, and sustained personal sadhana. His approach emphasizes Yoga as a lived discipline—integrated into daily life rather than presented as performance or trend. Over the years, his teaching and mentorship have reached diverse communities, always grounded in continuity and depth.
Satyadhara Yogalife Ashram was conceived as a space for sincere and structured practice. It reflects an understanding of Yoga that unfolds through breath, awareness, disciplined routines, and seva. Designed to support seekers at different stages of life, the ashram offers an environment that encourages steady inner growth without rigidity or excess.

The Guides
A Yoga Teacher is more than an instructor—they are a guide who helps students connect mind, body, and spirit through the practice of yoga. With deep knowledge of postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), meditation, and yogic philosophy, a yoga teacher creates a safe and supportive environment for self-discovery and growth.
A humble seeker who became a global guide. Since 1993, Guru Ji has carried the torch of Classical Yoga across 50 countries, touching over a million lives with ancient wisdom made accessible.
His path began in 1992 under the guidance of Dr. Jayadeva and Dr. Hansa Maa at The Yoga Institute, Mumbai. By 1996, he founded YogaLife Global—a movement that has since trained over 6,000 teachers and established more than 600 centers across 22 countries.
Guru Ji’s vision extends across continents: from Yogalife Ashram in Brazil to Satyadhara Yogalife Ashram in India. Recognized by India’s Ministry of Education and honored with numerous awards, he holds a Ph.D. in Vedic Yoga from YS University, Florida.
Yet beyond credentials and accolades, Guru Ji remains what he’s always been—a devoted practitioner, a patient teacher, and a bridge between timeless tradition and modern seekers.

“I came to Satyadhara seeking rest, but found transformation. The 3-day detox retreat was unlike anything I’d experienced—gentle yet profound.
The kriya practices opened something within me I didn’t know was closed. Each morning’s cleansing rituals felt like shedding old layers, revealing clarity I’d forgotten existed. The sattvic meals nourished not just my body, but something deeper.
What touched me most was the warmth—Guru Ji’s guidance, the caring staff, the sacred simplicity of it all. I left feeling lighter, clearer, and genuinely renewed. This wasn’t just a retreat. It was a homecoming to myself.
Merci, Satyadhara. My heart is full.“

“As someone who manages discipline and structure daily, I understood the value of routine—but Satyadhara taught me the power of restoration.
The detox retreat was exceptional. Beyond the cleansing practices, the Ayurvedic therapies were transformative—shirodhara brought a quietness I haven’t felt in years, the warm oil of abhyanga melted tension I didn’t realize I carried, and kansya therapy grounded me completely.
Every treatment was administered with expertise and care. The combination of ancient detox rituals and therapeutic precision created genuine healing—not just physical, but mental and emotional.
I returned to my responsibilities renewed, centered, and deeply grateful. Satyadhara delivers authentic wellness with professionalism and heart. Highly recommended for anyone seeking real rejuvenation.”

“I grew up hearing about yoga and meditation, but never truly experienced them until Satyadhara.
Coming from the fast pace of the USA, I didn’t realize how disconnected I’d become—from myself, from stillness, from something deeper. This retreat was my first real immersion, and it changed everything.
Guru Ji’s teaching made ancient practices feel accessible and profound. Each meditation session peeled back layers of mental noise. The yoga wasn’t just physical—it awakened something I didn’t know I was missing.
The ashram’s simplicity, the sattvic meals, the natural surroundings—everything supported genuine inner work. I came as a curious beginner and left as a committed practitioner.
Satyadhara gave me roots I’d been searching for. Grateful beyond words.”
